Christine and Will’s Traditional Wedding in San Francisco

Christine and Will have been a part of one another’s lives since they met in high school back in 2005. Fate seemingly sat them next to one another in English class and as they chatted they quickly realized that they loved spending time together. Their new friendship blossomed slowly, and it wasn’t until the following year that Will finally asked Christine to be his girlfriend.

The couple spent the next decade growing and learning together as they navigated the transition into college and then work, and they faced every day as a team as they pursued their hopes and ambitions.

A Wedding Worth Waiting For

Fast forward 12 years and the couple finally tied the knot in a beautiful and traditional ceremony that was all about love and family.

The bride and her eight bridesmaids looked stunning, with hair and makeup by Melanie Pham of Beauty by Melanie. Will’s eyes lit up as he saw his beautiful wife-to-be walking down the aisle towards him in her dress made by Papers and Petals Bridal.

The couple’s nuptials were held in St. Patrick’s church on Mission Street, San Francisco: a spectacular Roman Catholic church dating back to 1851. Christine and Will’s union brought together family from near and far, and the ceremony was rich with Filipino traditions including a poignant veil ceremony which symbolizes love and faithfulness, and a cord ceremony which cements the lifelong bond created by marriage.

Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing

After the ceremony, 247 guests gathered at the decedent Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon to celebrate the couple’s love for one another. The mood was one of relaxed sophistication as guests enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, followed by a lavish dinner in the garden pavilion.

Elegant flowers from Enchantment Floral formed the elaborate centerpieces of each table, and the white and pink rose theme continued in the decoration of the classic white wedding cake by Ma Petite Maison Cake Design.

Laughter filled the air as the best man and maid of honor delivered heartfelt toasts, and this laid-back and lighthearted atmosphere continued late into the evening as guests partied to music played by DJ Dan Payomo of Amos Productions.

Guests made the most of the photo booth provided by PhotoBombSJ, capturing fun moments from a special day that will never be forgotten.

Christine and Will chose not to move in together until they were married, so their wedding represents the beginning of their union and the start of a whole new life together. In Will’s words, “it’s been amazing!”
